Facebook – How Do I Set My Facebook Page Name / Vanity URL

Working in an environment where branding is a key component, we often get asked how to setup a Facebook Vanity URL.

Obviously, who wouldn’t want their Facebook business page URL to change from:
https://www.facebook.com/businessname/545323763451
to:
https://www.facebook.com/businessname

Thankfully, the task is a very simple but often overlooked couple of clicks in the menu of your Facebook business page.

Step 1: Go to your Facebook business page

Step 2: Click on the “About” tab (often hidden, requires you to click “more”)

Step 3: In the “General” section, look for the link called “Create Page @username” and click it.

Step 4: Enter your page name how you want it to be displayed (capital letters are also taken into account)

That’s it, providing the username is available, you have changed your Facebook business page name.
